About The Position

Rentals To Go is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to support the upkeep, functionality, and appearance of company properties, facilities, and grounds. This position is responsible for a wide range of duties including general construction, building maintenance, repairs, and landscaping.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and capable of handling both indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring our facilities remain safe, organized, and presentable while supporting daily operations across locations.
This position requires flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Prior experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, or related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance practices
• Ability to perform physical labor and work both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Ability to operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Use proper PPE and maintain a safe work environment
• Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues, or unsafe conditions
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations

Responsibilities

• Facility & Property Maintenance:
• Perform general building maintenance, including repairs to structures, fixtures, and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Complete minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs as needed
• Assist with construction projects, renovations, and facility improvements
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of workspaces and storage areas
• Grounds & Landscaping
• Maintain outdoor areas including mowing, trimming, edging, and general landscaping
• Perform seasonal property maintenance such as snow removal, leaf removal, and debris cleanup
• Ensure grounds are clean, safe, and presentable at all times
• Assist with maintaining drainage, walkways, and parking areas
• Equipment & Operational Support
• Operate company equipment and tools as needed to support maintenance, construction, and property upkeep
• Perform basic maintenance and care of tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Assist with organizing and maintaining work areas, materials, and equipment storage
• Support operational teams with facility-related tasks and projects as needed
• General Duties
• Maintain company properties, including buildings and surrounding grounds, to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-kept
• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies; notify management when restocking is needed
• Communicate effectively with management regarding facility conditions, project status, and maintenance needs
• Assist with special projects, event setups, and operational support as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business operations
• All Other Duties as Assigned
