About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The IT Support role maintains and troubleshoots basic warehouse equipment and electronics, as well as tests and inspects items of higher value to prepare them for auction. This role may be called upon to use proprietary software to scan and upload high-value product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the IT Team Lead.

Requirements

• Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Must be tech-savvy and teachable
• Must have a high level of integrity
• Must be comfortable with web- and browser-based software (Google/Amazon)
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must have an associate degree, 2 years of IT experience, or a combination equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic maintenance of warehouse printers and other peripherals
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and test products for auction
• Scan items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
