About The Position

Fonroche Lighting America designs and delivers autonomous solar street lighting solutions that support safer, more sustainable communities. As we continue to scale across the U.S., strong facility and field operations are critical to meeting customer commitments and maintaining quality execution. Our new Charlotte facility will serve as a key operational hub, supporting both warehouse activity and field installations. The Facility & Field Operations Manager is responsible for managing facility readiness, vendor coordination, and field support activities tied to the Charlotte operation. This role bridges internal operations and external execution, ensuring the site, equipment, and field activity run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Experience in facility management, field operations, construction operations, or logistics
  • Comfort working both on-site and in the field
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
  • Ability to work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
  • Mechanical aptitude and safety awareness
  • Willingness to travel and support hands-on work as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee facility organization, maintenance, and safety standards
  • Coordinate local vendors such as painters, material suppliers, and maintenance providers
  • Support facility layout planning and operational improvements
  • Ensure the site is prepared to scale as operations grow
  • Travel to job sites as needed to support installations and contractors
  • Coordinate with installers and contractors to resolve on-site issues
  • Operate equipment as needed, including forklifts and bucket trucks
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and operational support in the field
  • Work closely with warehouse, sales, and operations teams
  • Align operational capabilities with customer commitments
  • Support logistics planning from facility to field execution
  • Identify gaps between facility operations and field execution
  • Support development of SOPs related to site operations and field coordination
  • Recommend improvements to safety, efficiency, and execution processes
