About The Position
Fetzer Architectural Woodwork is seeking a dependable individual to join our team as a Full Time Facility Custodian. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout our woodworking manufacturing facility, including shop areas, offices, and common spaces. A clean facility supports safety, efficiency, and the high standards of craftsmanship our company is known for.
Requirements
- Reliable with consistent attendance
- Able to work independently and stay on task
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in an active woodworking manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
Responsibilities
- Empty trash and debris containers throughout the production floor
- Sweep shop floors and maintain clear walkways
- Perform general cleaning tasks as needed
- Monitor shop areas for cleanliness and potential safety concerns
- Clean and maintain lunchroom, break areas, and other shared spaces.
- Perform general cleaning in office areas
- Restock supplies as needed
