Requirements

  • Must be willing to take direct orders from the leadership team (including leads, supervisors, managers, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Complete routine cleaning of office spaces, entrances and approaches, conference rooms, break spaces (indoor and outdoor), restrooms, and other common areas such as hallways, staircases, elevators, etc.
  • Cleanliness expectations include emptying waste and recycling bins, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors and area rugs, dusting and sanitizing office equipment, cleaning appliances, countertops, tables, chairs, windows, doors, and door handles, sinks, mirrors, toilets, etc.
  • Stock all areas with supplies including paper towels, toilet paper, plastic utensils, paper plates, napkins, etc.
  • Manage supply inventory throughout the facility and recommend the purchase of replacement cleaning equipment & supplies as needed.
  • Complete daily cleaning of production floor. Expectations include sweeping, mopping, operating a power floor scrubber, and other cleaning tasks in accordance with general housekeeping requirements.
  • Respond to emergency cleanup situations.
  • Accept feedback or notifications from others and accommodate reasonable staff requests.
  • Maintain building security: secure building and perform other security tasks.
  • Conduct periodic walk throughs of the building and grounds to note repairs and cleaning required.
  • Basic keeping of company grounds: picking up garbage, maintaining picnic tables, removing snow and ice, treating sidewalks to main safety standards, etc.
  • Identify and report any unsafe work conditions, behaviors, or incidents.
  • Follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
