About The Position

Manage and maintain the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s physical assets within its facilities. Managing existing and replacement assets in the Enterprise Asset Management – Maximo EAM software database for asset life cycle management. Gathers, organizes, and prepares inventory and asset records within the database to optimize performance, compliance, and cost-efficiency. Supports daily operation of workflows and the main point of contact for end users; conduct system testing as required; assist in developing training programs for Maximo and Mobile entry of records. Operates under the objectives of the Asset Management Program (AMP) for optimal asset lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and / or a Trades Vocational certificate with three years’ experience to include data entry, data processing, accounting, purchasing and inventory, including other related experience or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Exceptional ability to pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, plan and coordinate projects
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Basic ability to gather and analyze data to make recommendations; and comprehend asset specifications.
  • Basic computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheets, project management software, relational database, presentation and video software
  • Physical dexterity to stand, squat, walk greater than 4 continuous hours to gather campus asset information.
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and equipment used in facility management.
  • Valid State of Florida driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Two years’ preferred EAM experience with Maximo, and mobile tablet work management software.
