About The Position

Ferrandino & Son is seeking a Facilities & Warehouse Technician to be responsible for the daily upkeep, operation, and readiness of company facilities, warehouse inventory, fleet vehicles and grounds. This hands-on role supporting operational efficiency by ensuring the building is opened and maintained daily, vehicles and equipment are compliant and service-ready, and inventory/deliveries are managed. What You’ll Do: Open the facility daily and perform minor repairs and general maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility and grounds, including performing lawn care, weeding, planting, debris and snow removal, and other seasonal needs Manage warehouse and tool room inventory; assist with parts ordering Maintain fleet vehicle compliance, including inspections, registrations, preventative maintenance, and handle DMV appointments Use GPS software to support fleet tracking Load, deliver and unload materials, tools, and supplies to job sites as needed Use Excel and Outlook to track inventory, maintenance logs, and schedules Work additional hours and weekends when operational needs require What We’re Looking For: Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on facility and landscaping work Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook Familiarity with GPS software and the Long Island area Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment Forklift certification Valid NY State Driver’s License Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and changing business needs Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed Preferred: CDL Class B license and experience towing trailers Prior experience in facilities, fleet, warehouse, or operations support roles Why Join Us: Hands-on role with no two days the same, sitting behind a desk-time is limited Opportunity to support essential operations Stable, team-oriented work environment Pay Rate Detail: The range for this position is $20.00 to $32.00 per hour based on experience. This position is considered a non-exempt position under federal and applicable state wage and hour law, which means that you will be eligible for overtime pay. You will be paid for all hours worked. Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on facility and landscaping work
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
