About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and operation of building systems in a healthcare or industrial environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting facility issues, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1–2 years of facilities or maintenance experience preferred
Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and repair tasks
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, potential failures, and safety concerns
Complete basic repairs including lighting, minor leaks, filter changes, and equipment adjustments
Assist in monitoring building automation systems and report any alarms or irregularities
Respond promptly to maintenance work orders to minimize operational disruptions
Troubleshoot and resolve routine facility issues; escalate complex problems as needed
Participate in emergency response procedures and after-hours on-call rotation if required
Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, maintenance areas, and storage spaces
Perform general facility upkeep including minor carpentry, painting, and hardware repairs
Support third-party vendors and contractors during service visits
Accurately document inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs in work order systems
Track inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts
Identify and recommend improvements to maintenance processes, safety practices, and facility performance
Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and leadership
