About The Position

Buck Company LLC is searching for a dependable, experienced Facilities Technician to join our 1st shift team in Quarryville, PA! As a Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining our buildings, equipment, and workspaces. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you will perform a variety of hands‑on maintenance tasks to ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Clear and effective communication skills with team members and leadership
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions in accordance with Buck Company safety policies
  • Reliable, regular, and punctual attendance

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related trade
  • Basic electrical experience
  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Facilities Manager with daily facility and maintenance activities
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Complete general carpentry work in office and foundry areas
  • Repair and finish drywall; perform painting and patching as required
  • Install lighting fixtures and assist with basic electrical tasks (as qualified)
  • Assemble and install office furniture and fixtures
  • Perform routine facility maintenance, including floor patching and general repairs
  • Maintain compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Support a clean, organized, and safe working environment
