Location Requirement: Ewing, NJ (Cenlar Offices) Please note that this position is based at our one of our Cenlar locations. The role requires on-site presence for 4 days per week. When applying, kindly ensure that you are local to this site and/or able to commute reliably. You will also be required to utilize the company van to travel between Cenlar Locations at our Yardley, PA office. The Facilities Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Cenlar occupied spaces and Cenlar owned buildings. The position performs many tasks and duties which include maintenance of the buildings, ensuring the cleanliness of the buildings, and assisting the Facilities Maintenance Foreman in any and all assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong technical and mechanical knowledge
  • Must be detail oriented and focused
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Extremely hard working with strong communication skills to maintain relations with co-workers, employees, and contractor
  • General working repair knowledge of light plumbing, electrical and carpentry

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall care and maintenance of office buildings and employees needs while reporting any issues or concerns to Management
  • Performs minor repairs in plumbing electrical and carpentry
  • Checks all buildings daily for any issues or problems that may occur as part of preventative maintenance; repairs and reports when applicable
  • Checks all buildings daily for copy paper and light bulbs; refills and replaces where as necessary
  • Repairs or assembles broken desks and other furniture pieces as needed
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar’s reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
