About The Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of all company facilities. This role ensures building systems, utilities, and physical assets are properly maintained while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to support a productive work environment across multiple locations and shifts.

  • Ability to use maintenance and business systems (e.g., Emaint, email, expense reporting tools like Concur)
  • Willingness to support a wide range of facilities needs as business demands evolve
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours during emergencies or major facility events
  • High School Diploma is Preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting across facility systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, and water systems
  • Diagnose and repair building infrastructure and production-support equipment to minimize downtime
  • Monitor facility operation systems and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed
  • Coordinate repairs and service with outside contractors and vendors
  • Perform installation and maintenance of lighting, doors, access control, and minor carpentry or drywall projects
  • Assist with equipment moves and facility modifications, including use of lifts, ladders, and forklifts
  • Maintain inventory of facility-related spare parts and supplies
  • Perform basic electrical work, including circuits, controls, and power distribution (within scope of training and certification)
  • Assist with shop floor utilities such as power, air, and network drops associated with equipment moves
  • Communicate facility-related updates that may impact employees across shifts or buildings
  • Escort vendors and contractors throughout facilities and provide access to mechanical, electrical, and control rooms as needed
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and participate in after-hours support during critical events (e.g., storms, outages)
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment
