About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Facilities Technician - Sign Shop is to maintain production and maintenance of property signage to include in-house, tenants and outside vendor work requests. The employer may assign other duties as needed in accordance with Section 12.01 and consistent with Article 24 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

21 years of age.
Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Driver's License and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
A math aptitude to setup/operate CNC machine and large print equipment.
Able to use Microsoft programs daily, Word, Excel, Teams.
1 year experience using hand tools, screw driver, hammer, utility blade, power tools, drills, router.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Operate computer software EnRoute, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Flexi Sign.
Run finishing machinery including vinyl plotter, large format printers, lazer engraver, CNC router, and large format laminator.
Daily design, production, installation, and maintenance of signage throughout the resort.
Direct support to other departments for Signage needs.
Provide tools and material to install signs property wide
Operating equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks.
Stock sign shop supplies
Maintain a current MSDS book.
Safety is an essential function of this job
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
