About The Position

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead one of two teams within the Facilities group. This role involves maintaining 19 buildings and supporting over 1,100 employees in the Logan area, as well as 3 storage facilities and a hangar at the airport. The supervisor will lead a team of facilities assistants, technicians, and technologists, supporting lab operations across various trades including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, woodworking, painting, and carpentry. The facilities team also collaborates closely with engineers on program needs. SDL is dedicated to delivering advanced multi-domain solutions for national security and scientific discovery, with expertise in satellites, sensors, ground systems, data processing, and autonomous systems, supporting missions for NASA and the Department of Defense. Requirements

  • High school diploma and 15+ years of experience with planning and supporting the coordination and administration of maintenance and facilities tasks, services, and repairs
  • Advanced understanding of electrical, plumbing, framing, HVAC systems, and controls in both standard design as well as the construction of closed space
  • Ability to read and understand architectural construction drawing, engineering plans, and facility design packages
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person
