Administrative Duties Integrates department's services with the agency's primary functions Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services and reviews at least annually Recommends a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide services Determines qualifications and competence of personnel who provide services Assesses and improves department's performance continually Maintains appropriate quality control programs Recommends space and other resources for needed services Participates in selecting outside sources for needed services Achieves predetermined departmental objectives Stays abreast of changes in specialty area, e.g., changes in regulations, funding methods and sources, etc. Ensures compliance with appropriate laws, licensing regulations and other external requirements Works with board members/committees as assigned by President/CEO
