About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of facility-related departments, including maintenance, tool crib, and shipping & receiving. This role ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and federal regulations while driving operational efficiency and team performance.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree
2+ years of experience in a facilities, warehouse operations or shipping, and receiving supervisory role
Forward-thinking and growth-oriented mindset
Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field
5+ years of experience in a facilities, warehouse operations or shipping, and receiving supervisory role
Experience in supervision bargaining unit employees
Proficiency in Excel & Microsoft Office Suite
Facilities Work Management System (WMS)
CATS (Corporate Automated Timekeeping System) experience
Penta SAP experience

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a UAW-represented team in either maintenance, shipping & receiving, or tool stores.
Train and coach team members on procedures and safety protocols.
Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, DOT regulations, and customs compliance.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
