About The Position

Performs all tasks involved in the building maintenance. This includes performing a variety of housekeeping, janitorial, and building maintenance duties. Follows standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Requirements

• Experience in janitorial and building maintenance
• Must possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must possess the ability to interact with and maintain a positive relationship with all personnel
• Flexibility and ability to follow instructions is a must
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including events and special projects

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, maintains the appearance of the facility, inside and outside, and daily inspection, collection and removal of all trash
• Maintain the cleanliness of all public and common areas of the property
• Sweep and maintain all common areas, stairwells and in front of employee entrances as needed in assigned areas
• Load, unload, and stock supplies such as water coolers, paper supplies, cleaning supplies, drinks, etc.
• Mop all spills immediately when reported and when necessary
• Clean and wipe down any safety equipment around the facility
• Responsible for janitorial duties such as cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, stocking all paper products in restrooms
• Cleaning fixtures include hand washers, toilets, urinals, toilet stalls, mirrors, etc.
• Vacuum and empty trash receptacles including recycling materials in all office and common areas of building
• Clean and maintain lunchroom areas including emptying trash, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping counter tops, coffee bar area, cupboards, tables, and all vending machines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any damaged equipment or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor
• Performs additional job responsibilities as needed
