About The Position

This includes the delivery of evidence-based preventative care, chronic disease management, and addressing urgent care needs as indicated for our pediatric and adult patient population. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and coordination of maintenance, custodial, and grounds operations across multiple healthcare facilities. This position ensures that all buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe, functional, and compliant condition, including oversight of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping, as well as management of contracted service providers. The Facilities Supervisor directs integrated maintenance and custodial teams within the Facilities Department to support the efficient operation of healthcare services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the organization’s mission, goals, and values are upheld through the effective management of physical environments. In collaboration with and under the direction of the Director of Administrative Operations, the Facilities Supervisor assists in providing comprehensive facility support to promote optimal conditions for patient care across all clinic locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of five years of maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the hiring process, offering recommendations for hire.
  • Trains maintenance and custodial staff.
  • Organizes and oversees schedules and work assignments for maintenance and custodial teams across multiple sites.
  • Coordinates with contracted cleaning and landscaping vendors to ensure service quality and compliance.
  • Coordinates with vendors for specialized services such as one-time projects or facility improvements, seasonal landscaping, and emergency repairs
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Documents and work with department leaders to coach and/or discipline as needed.
  • When necessary, make recommendations to the department leader that may result in termination as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Oversee daily operations of maintenance and custodial services across all healthcare facilities.
  • Evaluates building systems, grounds, and cleanliness to determine maintenance, repair, or custodial needs.
  • Develops and implements maintenance, cleaning, and landscaping schedules.
  • Ensure all internal and contracted work is completed correctly, safely, and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with vendors for specialized services such as one-time projects or facility improvements, seasonal landscaping, and emergency repairs.
  • Monitors inventory and supply needs for maintenance and custodial operations.
  • Assists with departmental budget planning and cost tracking for repairs, cleaning, and landscaping.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
