The Facilities Services Contract Supervisor is responsible for managing outsourced facility service contracts to ensure safe, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery. The initial focus of this role is oversight of the Maintenance Parts Crib service contract and support of facility relocation activities, as required. Over time, this position will expand to become the single point of accountability for additional site service contracts including janitorial, moving services, and cafeteria operations. This role emphasizes vendor performance management, cost control, continuous improvement, and strong coordination with internal stakeholders. Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
  • Experience managing outsourced service contracts or vendors in a facilities, operations, or industrial environment.
  • Strong skills in vendor performance management, cost control, and process improvement.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Maintenance, Facilities Engineering, Operations, and Site Leadership Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with maintenance parts crib operations or materials management (oversight level).
  • Experience supporting facility moves, relocations, or large operational transitions.
  • Familiarity with contract metrics, KPIs, and SLA management.
  • Background in facilities management, engineering support, or operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the contract owner for the outsourced Maintenance Parts Crib service.
  • Hold vendors accountable for inventory accuracy, cycle counting, shrink control, and obsolescence management.
  • Monitor and enforce contract requirements, KPIs, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Lead cost control efforts, spend tracking, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Drive process improvements such as kitting, standardization, and workflow enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary interface with Maintenance and Facilities leadership to align service delivery with operational needs.
  • Support facility relocation efforts when required, serving as the service-side point of contact coordinating with moving vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and operational readiness in new location.
  • Gradually assume responsibility for additional outsourced services to include, but not limited to, janitorial, moving services, and cafeteria operations, becoming the single point of accountability for assigned facility service contracts.
  • Establish consistent performance standards, metrics, and vendor governance across services.
