About The Position

Facilities Service Coordinators are responsible for managing all aspects of assigned Trades or core areas. This includes Policy and Procedure maintenance, bidding and contracting of services, continual program evaluation, researching/implementing new strategies, budgeting and expense management, and assisting stores with day-to-day questions from Store Team Members in order to improve end results and lower Operational Expenses. The Service Coordinator Team is responsible for managing the maintenance and repairs of the stores from the Eau Claire General Office to ensure they are completed on time, within the allotted budget, and meet the contractual obligations.

Requirements

Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Knowledgeable in bidding, estimating, contracts, and drafting work specifications.
Must be able to work full-time.
Ability to put in overtime (average 45 hours per week).
Relocation to Eau Claire, WI.

Nice To Haves

Experience in with one or more of the above trades.
Associates Degree or higher in a related field.
Menards retail experience.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of assigned Trades or core areas, including Asphalt/Concrete, Crack Filling, Parking Lot Striping, Bollards, Catch Basins, Tie Down Sheds, Sidewalk Benches, Interior Concrete Repair OR Parking Lot Sweeping, Solid Waste, Snow Removal, Carpet Carousel, Trash Compactor, Cardboard Baler, Ladders, Welding, Interior/Exterior Lighting, Emergency Lighting.
Maintain Policy and Procedure.
Bid and contract services.
Conduct continual program evaluation.
Research and implement new strategies.
Manage budgeting and expenses.
Assist stores with day-to-day questions from Store Team Members.
Schedule service and coordinate with the GM staff.
Communicate with the vendor and ensure that work is completed on time.
Communicate updates and report status of projects to the Operations Facility Manager.
Upon completion of the projects, verify punch lists are complete and sign off on the project.
