What You’ll Do: As the site’s designated Facilities Security Officer (FSO), you will manage and continuously improve our security program, working closely with DCSA and internal stakeholders to protect classified personnel, facilities, and information.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial security, with direct FSO responsibilities in a cleared facility
  • Strong knowledge of NISPOM and related DoD security requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizen only as required under NISPOM regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with DISS, NISS, NBIS, and eMASS preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines and with external agencies

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-level security policies and procedures in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM)
  • Manage personnel security clearances, including eAPP submissions and continuous monitoring
  • Oversee access control systems, visitor logs, badging, and physical security infrastructure (cameras, alarms, safes)
  • Conduct site security briefings, training, and awareness programs for employees
  • Lead incident response and coordinate with local authorities and USG agencies as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, including incident reports, self-inspections, and classified material inventories
  • Serve as the primary liaison to DCSA, facilitating inspections, answering inquiries, and driving corrective action plans
  • Support information system security initiatives in coordination with IT and Engineering
