Job Description As a Security Officer - Corrections Facilities in Union City, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or customer concerns, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized entry into controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and complete required notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and policy violations, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
