Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field A high school, vocational, or trade school diploma plus five (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar field (facilities management, resource management, program support, or related discipline).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing formal reports or executive-level correspondence.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, track performance metrics, and support strategic planning activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with senior Government officials and external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with appropriated funds, Government budget processes, or facilities recapitalization programs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government with planning, coordination, execution, and improvement of the facilities recapitalization program.
  • Manage appropriated facilities funding to ensure accurate allocation, compliance, and efficient use of resources.
  • Provide stewardship over the appropriated budget, facility condition assessments, and recapitalization initiatives.
  • Prepare strategic written responses to Congressional questions for the record, defend budgetary reductions, and support CFO inquiries.
  • Lead, track, and report organizational performance metrics related to facilities programs.
  • Support development of facilities inputs for the Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB), Program Build submissions, and other strategic planning products.
  • Attend meetings and support formal communications with executive-level stakeholders, including Congressional staff.
  • Obtain, organize, and maintain data required for scheduled and ad hoc facilities-related data calls.
