Qorvo Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Project Manager to oversee manufacturing equipment installations, space planning, and infrastructure projects within our advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical systems, a strong understanding of fluid handling processes, expertise in building codes and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance. In this role you'll have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of teams and have a major impact on Qorvo's success through execution of both small and large projects. Collaborative efforts with other manufacturing sites are available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering or similar
  • 5+ Years of experience in Project Management, Facilities Engineering, Industrial Design or Construction
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work with people that have varied levels of technical background

Nice To Haves

  • Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Previous exposure to industrial design and maintenance/operation of facility systems
  • Experience with implementing energy or water reduction projects
  • Experience with semiconductor wafer fabrication sites
  • Ability to edit drawings using AutoCAD or Revit
  • Ability Interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Understanding of applicable building codes and regulations
  • Understanding of semiconductor cleanroom requirements and construction

Responsibilities

  • Oversee manufacturing equipment installations, space planning, and infrastructure projects
  • Support execution of projects to optimize energy use, reduce water, and cost of operation
  • Research equipment and evaluate new technologies for use within the facility
  • Interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Create/Modify 2D CAD drawings
  • Oversee regulatory and permitting process with local and state governments
  • Apply LEAN principles to drive continuous improvement
