About The Position

The Facilities Project Manager will assist departmental leadership in day-to-day management and oversight of departmental operational and/or capital improvement projects. This staff member will identify needs; research, obtain, compile, and analyze data; develop plans and designs; implement solutions to aid efficient completion of approved projects; coordinate with external consultants and contractors. This position works with project budgets and is involved in the departmental preparation/development process to include tasking, tracking objectives and meeting time sensitive deadlines.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Management Materials, Property Management, Business Administration, Mechanical or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in facilities, consulting, and the management of building facilities projects is required.
  • License: Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in commercial or retail, high traffic facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the life cycle of each phase of facilities projects, remodels, and other special projects to include requirements, budget development, design, implementation, acceptance and closeout.
  • Develops and designs feasibility studies for review and prepares various contracts, request for proposals, and reports.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors providing contract services during project execution to ensure that requirements are accomplished on time, to the specified quality, and within budget.
  • Complete building and property condition assessments, design of repairs to existing building envelope components including: roofs, curtain walls, masonry, Exterior Insulation and Finishing system (EIFS) and entrances.
  • Lead and support teams effort in the execution of projects to ensure the performance goals and expectations are met and are on time and with minimal interruption to operations.
  • Review purchase requisitions and decide most effective/efficient methods of purchase. Ensure requisition of within authorized allowance and meets all criteria as established by leadership.
