Job Overview: Monitor all aspects of small to medium sized engineering project from start to finish. Assists with developing project objects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related area. 0-2 years of experience.
- technical understanding
- Independent working.
- good coordination skills
- good communication skills
- good presentation skills and very confident with computer programs (e.g. windows programs)
Responsibilities
- Responsible to manage small / sub projects under the prospective technology and budget consideration.
- Coordinates and monitors design and construction activities ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements
- Assists with designing operational plan for completing the project
- Monitors / assist monitoring project progress and performance against project plan
- Analyzes drawings and communicates discrepancies to vendors for corrections
- Prepares and presents progress reports before, during and after construction
- Prepares basic engineering designs and work specifications
- Conducts weekly meetings with vendors
- Resolves non-routine operational problems and minimizes delays
- Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings
- Will perform other duties as assigned
- Networking. Independent setup of contacts with internal / external Daimler partners and worldwide external business partners
