Job Overview: Monitor all aspects of small to medium sized engineering project from start to finish. Assists with developing project objects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related area. 0-2 years of experience.
  • technical understanding
  • Independent working.
  • good coordination skills
  • good communication skills
  • good presentation skills and very confident with computer programs (e.g. windows programs)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to manage small / sub projects under the prospective technology and budget consideration.
  • Coordinates and monitors design and construction activities ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements
  • Assists with designing operational plan for completing the project
  • Monitors / assist monitoring project progress and performance against project plan
  • Analyzes drawings and communicates discrepancies to vendors for corrections
  • Prepares and presents progress reports before, during and after construction
  • Prepares basic engineering designs and work specifications
  • Conducts weekly meetings with vendors
  • Resolves non-routine operational problems and minimizes delays
  • Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Will perform other duties as assigned
  • Networking. Independent setup of contacts with internal / external Daimler partners and worldwide external business partners
