The purpose of the Support Center is to deliver a high level of service within their work center in order to support the business. Position Purpose The Facilities Procurement Manager supports the Facilities team by leading the sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and warehouse alignment necessary to equip and maintain Border Foods restaurants. This role ensures that equipment, parts, materials, and supplies are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with company standards. In addition, this role directly oversees the Warehouse Manager to ensure receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution processes support field operations with accuracy and reliability. This position blends strategic vendor management with operational leadership within the Facilities organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, facilities support, or operations.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts and negotiating pricing.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with purchasing or inventory systems preferred.

  • Prior leadership or direct oversight experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase equipment, parts, supplies, and materials for restaurant operations and Facilities projects.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.
  • Maintain updated vendor records, contracts, and pricing documentation.
  • Partner with the VP of Facilities, Construction Manager, and Field Service teams to anticipate procurement needs.
  • Support remodels, special projects, and operational initiatives through effective purchasing coordination.
  • Track project-related purchasing to align with budgets and timelines.
  • Directly manage the Warehouse Manager.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, distribution, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure safe, clean, and organized warehouse operations.
  • Align warehouse processes with Facilities priorities and field support needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Coordinate delivery of materials to restaurant locations and job sites.
  • Troubleshoot logistics challenges and supply disruptions.
