Facilities Powerhouse Engineer (Boilers/Chillers) Is this you? Do you spot a pressure drift before an alarm ever pings? Can you switch from a pneumatic control tweak to an electronic BAS tune-up without missing a beat? If you’re energized by keeping complex utilities safe, efficient, and reliable, read on. What you’ll tackle Verify safe operation across stationary systems: boilers; ammonia and Freon chillers; air compressors; glycol and AHU cooling; fire protection; air handling; wastewater; and hot oil. Run inspections on schedule, document results, and escalate any abnormal conditions to management. Execute PMs, track and close service calls, and keep performance trending in the right direction. Adjust setpoints/controls to achieve safe, efficient operation through the building automation system (pneumatic and electronic). Own spares and consumables accuracy—log and manage inventory of gaskets, chemicals, pumps, and more. Commit to ongoing training to maintain your Stationary Engineer license and master emerging technologies.
