About The Position

The Facilities Operations Assistant will assist all areas of park operations including office operations, event planning and execution, baseball game execution, field maintenance, and building maintenance. Responsible for specific non-game day, game day, special event, and administrative duties. Will work closely with facility maintenance, HVAC, and field maintenance. Additional projects as needed throughout the season.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., sports administration, operations, event management, recreation/facility management). Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be reliable, detailed, and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Game Day assignments – concourse set-up, safety and cleanliness walk-through, guest service, crowd control, and event staff supervision
  • Special event set-up and coverage
  • Assist with event staff scheduling and supervision
  • Daily safety and security walk-through of ballpark
  • Assist with daily administrative duties of department
  • Complete season specific projects as assigned by supervisor and department heads
  • Assist with the incident management and work order system
  • Assist other departments as necessary including but not limited to; in-game promotions, field ceremonies, marketing, security, etc.
