About The Position

Responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of our Company. To ensure that we have the most suitable working environment for our employees for their activities / tasks.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written skills required
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be practical and hands-on with tasks
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred but equivalent experience can be substituted for education

Responsibilities

  • Manage facilities maintenance
  • Manage building and grounds maintenance
  • Manage special projects
  • Manage cleaning / housekeeping
  • Manage utilities and communications infrastructure
  • Manage space
  • Interface with senior management on projects to be completed, review project costs and secure approval for project start
  • Provide weekly project progress reports to the General Manager
  • Project management; supervising and coordinating work of employees and contractors
  • Calculate and compare costs for required goods and / or services to achieve maximum value for money
  • Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives
  • Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
  • Direct, coordinate and plan essential central services such as security, maintenance, cleaning, safety, waste disposal and recycling
  • Ensure the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities maintenance comply with legislation
  • Keep staff safe
  • Plan best allocation and utilization of space and resources for the buildings and / or re-organizing
  • Check that work by staff and / or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies if necessary
  • Coordinate and lead one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility
  • Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
  • Perform any others tasks or requests given by management
