About The Position

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Lead, coordinate, and supervise daily operations and maintenance activities across multiple disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Piping, Instrumentation & Controls, and UPW). Ensure all work meets safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while maintaining compliance while using Maintenance Standard Work (MSW) and Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA) standards. Provide technical, strategic, and tactical direction to multidisciplinary maintenance teams. Oversee execution of preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and troubleshooting activities. Manage commissioning of new equipment and ensure proper integration into site operations. Prioritize daily work, allocate personnel, and schedule PM/CM tasks using Maintenance Connection (CMMS). Develop and implement training plans, including EHS and NXP‑required training for direct reports. Coach, mentor, and evaluate craft personnel to ensure high proficiency in maintenance operations. Conduct Performance Management activities, including semi‑annual and annual performance and behavioral evaluations. Maintain a strong field presence to drive task completion and reinforce safe work practices. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce PM task duration and enhance overall maintenance efficiency. Report directly to the Facilities O&M Section Manager and support cross‑functional coordination across site operations. Technical Knowledge & System Expertise Possesses broad working knowledge of operating, maintaining, installing, repairing, and troubleshooting all site facility systems. Understands the functionality and operation of Building Automation Systems, including Delta‑V, Foxboro, SCADA, and Schneider platforms. Applies predictive maintenance concepts and interprets condition‑based monitoring data to improve system reliability. Oversees preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities for all facility systems and equipment. Performs work across multiple specialties—HVAC, Electrical, Piping, I&C, and UPW—supporting PMs, CMs, troubleshooting, design, project management, system startups, commissioning, and inspections. Coordinates with vendors and contractors, ensuring proper scope execution and compliance with site standards. Participates in site‑wide emergency response activities related to facility systems. Contributes to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) development and review to enhance system reliability and reduce downtime. Maintains and updates operating procedures, including Standard Work Elements (SWE) and Maintenance Standard Work (MSW) documents. Applies Lean principles and 5S methodologies to improve workflow efficiency, organization, and safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor facilities, industrial maintenance, or construction trades.
  • Proven experience leading a technical team or performing in a senior technical role.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities in mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
  • Understanding of business and management principles, including planning, resource allocation, and leadership practices.
  • Knowledge of human resource management procedures, including coaching, performance evaluation, and workforce development.
  • Ability to interpret complex schematics, engineering drawings, and O&M manuals.
  • Proficient with standard computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and national building codes and environmental regulations.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with Kronos or similar time‑keeping systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information, improvement opportunities, and operational needs to management and cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to respond to facility emergencies and unplanned outages on a 24/7 basis.
  • Willingness to work off‑shift hours, weekends, and holidays as required by operational demands.
