About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Facilities Multi Services Manager (Level K) to support the team onsite in Auburn, Washington on 2nd shift. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This role will lead a team of 10+ people.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
  • 1+ years of experience in using excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
  • Willing and able to work any shift (this role is for 2nd shift)

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience in tooling and equipment services
  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing in a union represented environment
  • 1+ years of experience in conflict resolution and/or mediation
  • 1+ years of experience managing team workloads (preventative, planned, and reactive service requests & activities)
  • 1+ years of experience with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Ability to demonstrate competencies in conflict resolution, collaboration, process improvement, people development
  • Adaptability, change management, ability to shift priorities quickly

Responsibilities

  • Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
