Renesas is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering and technical support for facilities’ mechanical systems, including HVAC, process piping, plumbing, fire suppression systems, and the industrial water plant (DI Water Plant). Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering work in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person (ITAR role)

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and technical support for facilities’ mechanical systems; HVAC, process piping, plumbing, fire suppression systems and industrial water plant (DI Water Plant)
  • Providing design, ACAD drawings, specifications, cost estimates and materials review/approval
  • Maintain “as-built” plans, files and records of plant buildings, systems and equipment
  • Evaluate plant needs, short term and long-term strategic plans and provides best available solutions
  • Support operations and maintenance groups in trouble shooting existing systems and optimizing maintenance and operating performance and costs
  • Assure compliance with all applicable life safety, city, state and federal codes and regulations
  • Project management and supervise construction to comply with drawings, specifications, contracts and budget
