About The Position

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead a multi-generational team of 30 maintenance technicians at Oral Roberts University , a conservative, faith-based institution in Tulsa, OK . This role offers high visibility, challenging opportunities, and a rewarding work environment. You will manage maintenance for 41 buildings, including administrative spaces and student dormitories.

Requirements

• 3+ years of management experience in facilities maintenance, including oversight of large complex properties.
• Strong expertise in boilers , as well as HVAC , plumbing , electrical , structural , and energy management systems.
• Proven track record of leadership and technical proficiency, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to meet financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians specializing in HVAC , plumbing , electrical , painting , and repair
• Oversee boiler systems and ensure efficient operations across complex properties.
• Develop and implement innovative technical solutions to optimize client programs, including preventative maintenance and energy management.
• Manage daily operations including grounds and landscaping, janitorial services, mailroom operations, and facility renovations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Facilities to ensure high levels of customer service , staff development , and team building
• Drive business results by managing key performance indicators and ensuring financial success through a strong understanding of P&L
