In this role, you will ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient environment that supports employees, visitors, and research activities. You will oversee a broad portfolio of service teams—including Events, Audio Visual, Shipping & Receiving, Maintenance, Lab Services, and Small Projects—to deliver seamless daily operations, exceptional customer service, and cost-effective results aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Facility Management, Project Management, and ideally, Laboratory operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, peers, leadership, and guests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop staff across multiple operational functions.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on service, safety, and accountability.
  • Oversee budgets, monitor spending, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Analyze operational costs and identify opportunities for efficiency.
  • Direct daily site operations to ensure safety, compliance, and reliability.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance performance and customer experience.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support events, lab operations, and facility-related projects.
  • Coordinate service delivery across teams and campus locations.
