About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Beehive Park Facility in American Fork, Utah. This role is responsible for ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with company standards, cGMP requirements, and global operational practices. The Facility Manager plays a critical leadership role, managing maintenance, landscaping/grounds, and janitorial teams while coordinating with contractors and global partners to support equipment, infrastructure, and technical needs. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in regulated environments and values safety, process improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in facility management or a closely related role
  • Strong people leadership and team management capabilities
  • Working knowledge of cGMP standards, safety regulations, and contractor oversight
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and project management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
  • Understanding of maintenance operations, groundskeeping, and janitorial services
  • Familiarity with safety systems, work process improvement, and standardized work practices
  • High level of professionalism and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility operations to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective facility management and continuous improvement
  • Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and deployment
  • Oversee contractor projects, ensuring work is quoted accurately, delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with cGMP standards
  • Lead and support Maintenance, Landscaping/Groundskeeping, and Janitorial teams
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance development
  • Facilitate regular team meetings focused on standardized work, safety, and process improvements
  • Partner with the Maintenance Team Lead to ensure infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards
  • Drive safety initiatives, work system improvements, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with global teams (including Taiwan) on technical support, programming, and global standards alignment
  • Ensure facility grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained
  • Oversee equipment care, pest control, contractor performance, and safety compliance
  • Maintain clean, safe, and compliant working environments
  • Establish and monitor cleaning schedules, safety protocols, and contractor performance
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Liaise with global teams on equipment acquisition, installation, qualification, and facility design
  • Prepare reports and materials for leadership meetings as needed
  • Lead safety initiatives across all assigned teams
  • Serve as an active member of the Safety Committee
  • Ensure safety is embedded into facility design, equipment installation, and all operational processes
