About The Position

The Facilities Manager plays a key leadership role overseeing all aspects of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) at an Aramark client site, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and in full alignment with both Aramark and client standards. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, influence site‑wide performance, and build strong cross‑department partnerships that support a unified, high‑quality service delivery model. In this role, the Facilities Director will guide and develop frontline leaders, foster a strong culture of accountability and growth, and drive operational excellence across the facility. Success is measured through meeting and exceeding operating goals, achieving client objectives, elevating the customer experience, and ensuring Aramark consistently delivers on its service commitments.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of facilities management leadership experience, including oversight of both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, including boilers, chillers, generators, and HVAC/R equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in business & industry, life sciences, or manufacturing environments is highly valued.
  • Background in developing maintenance strategies and O&M capital planning is a plus.
  • Experience in GMP environments or other highly regulated settings is strongly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPMM (or equivalent) are a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop frontline associates and vendor partners to deliver exceptional service across a multi‑faceted IFM operation.
  • Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, including KPIs, SOW requirements, response times, and HS&E performance metrics.
  • Champion a Safety FIRST culture, modeling behaviors that support a zero‑incident environment where every team member is empowered to work safely.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative workplace that encourages teamwork, accountability, and strong internal and external partnerships.
  • Drive operational efficiency through effective labor planning, scheduling, inventory control, and continuous process improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with client site leadership and participate in Monthly and Quarterly Client Business Reviews (CBRs).
  • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate frontline staff to ensure high performance, engagement, and optimal staffing levels.
  • Utilize the EcoBPM CMMS platform to manage work orders, track performance, and meet established SLAs.
  • Oversee proper use and maintenance of capital equipment to support operational reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with Aramark Facilities Management standards, OSHA regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
