About The Position

Clack Corporation, a privately held company, established over 70 years ago is now hiring! We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of water treatment components and drinking water products, as well as specialized in custom blow molding products. We are looking for a Facilities Manager with a strong leadership background to join our team. Summary: Oversee facility operations across multiple manufacturing buildings and locations. This role manages maintenance, repairs, utilities, infrastructure, and facility-related projects across all locations, ensuring minimal downtime, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective operations that support production and business goals. Oversee day-to-day facility operations across multiple manufacturing sites, warehouses and office spaces. Lead Facility Maintenance projects and assign work to facilities staff. Supervise and manage custodial personnel. Assure a safe work environment for all employees and visitors to facilities in Wisconsin, Arkansas, Arizona, and Florida. Manage and maintain buildings, grounds, equipment, capital improvements, and special facility projects. Adjust or shut down equipment or processes due to hazardous conditions. Ensure reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, water, fire protection, and other building systems. Coordinate emergency repairs and trouble shoot facility related issues to minimize production downtime. Direct plant engineering efforts related to equipment procurement, installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement. Select, manage, and direct services provided by outside contractors and vendors. Obtain and maintain required permits, including DNR, building, and burning permits, as applicable. Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and utilities, including the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspection, Windsor Sanitary, Alliant Energy, MG&E, and others. Ensure facilities comply with OSHA, EPA, local/state regulations, fire codes, and company safety policies. Negotiate service agreements and oversee contractor safety and performance. Lead facility upgrades, renovations, expansions, and capital improvement projects. Procure services, supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for facility operations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience managing multiple buildings or locations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to travel between sites as required.
  • Ability to walk manufacturing floors and access equipment areas.
  • Occasional lifting, climbing, or use of PPE required.
  • Flexible schedule availability for emergencies or off-shift work.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage numerous tasks.
