About The Position

We are seeking several Facilities Managers for direct hire, full-time roles with a growing Data Center infrastructure company in Buffalo, NY and Houston, TX. About the Company Building the infrastructure for abundant intelligence, partnering with top AI labs, governments, and enterprises - including Mistral, Poolside, Black Forest Labs, Meta, and more - to unlock compute at the speed of light. About the Team The Data Center Operation team supports the company's fast growth by deploying and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team takes full onsite responsibility for each site and manages the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware fleet, providing various infrastructure solutions and services ensuring that they are scalable and reliable. Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms. The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.

Requirements

Knowledge of standard power and cooling calculations necessary to determine capacity requirements (i.e., TIA-942, ASHRAE).
Experience with Power Redundancy and its implementation in design (i.e., 2N or N+1 Distributed Redundant).
Understand Cooling Redundancy and how Concurrent Maintainability is implemented in design (i.e., N+1 or N+2).
Experience in the following areas : Supervision of the construction team to complete Data Hall build-out experience, including IT services Coordination, Power and Cooling Planning.
Influence the testing and commissioning team to perform L1 to L5 commissioning tests to validate the system design intent and resolve technical problems.
Electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience such as generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, UPS, electrical sub-distribution systems, etc.

Nice To Haves

Direct experience working with GPU servers, H100, B200, GB200 etc.
Diploma or Professional Certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
A high level of agility with the ability to prioritize work and stay organized in a complex, fast-paced environment with high ambiguity.
Vendors, projects, or program engagement experience.

Responsibilities

Support the DC Operations teams as a Subject Matter Expert and handle escalations in the area of data center critical infrastructure and other facilities within the white space.
Understand and manage design limitations and risks of the datacenter, and regularly audit, review, and collaborate with our colo-cation partners or service providers on their maintenance program and effectiveness.
Manage and drive the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities in our data centers.
Manage incident as the first responder onsite while getting support from SMEs of datacenter engineering and infrastructure domains.
Provide onsite services to support many other initiatives and continually maintain positive and collaborative working relations with customers, partner teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
