Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, lift and bend for up to 10 hours (with breaks) in cold and damp environment.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Electro/mechanical trouble shooting
  • Read and understand blueprints, layouts, and schematics of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to use measuring and testing equipment (caliper, volt ohm meter, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a team based environment
  • Computer skills, keyboarding Microsoft word/excel

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts and reassemble machines.
  • Perform preventative scheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment, and building equipment.
  • Follow all procedures such as lock out tag out and HACCP. (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
  • Operate, install, maintain, and / or repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing throughout the facilities
  • Ensure proper completion of work orders
  • Perform all duties with required safety equipment and comply with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Completes work orders and data entry tasks daily.
