About The Position

Facilities Maintenance Technician will report to HSE & Facilities Mgr. This is a general list of duties that are variable on a daily basis. When there seems to be no Facility work orders pending, the Technician can and will be used for other maintenance duties.

Requirements

• +5years of experience in Facilities

Responsibilities

• Parking lot
• Landscaping & Grounds Maint. contracting
• Janitorial Contracting
• Building HVAC point of contact for repairs, PM, air filters, etc.
• Fire System and Fire alarm testing and repairs
• Annual Fire System Testing coordination and follow up actions
• Fire Chief Inspection (HSE & Facilities Mgr. and Facilities Maint. combined)
• FM Global insurance inspection and follow up actions (HSE & Facilities Mgr. and Facilities Maint. combined)
• Annual crane inspection and follow up actions
• EPACS system – Equipment upkeep/repairs (access control is still under HSE & Facilities Mgr. responsibility)
• Office furniture upkeep requests
• Elevator repair callout, inspections, follow up actions
• Roofing issues
• Facilities plumbing
• BLDG infrastructure repairs or coordination (i.e. columns, siding, floors, shop floor concrete, windows, doors, painting, facility lighting, etc.)
• Other general facilities related to electrical including conduit and running wires
