We’re hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will provide support for the maintenance related needs of all local EquipmentShare buildings and grounds.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the management team.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, and open to taking direction as needed.
  • Use of technology (laptop and smartphone) are preferred.
  • At least 1+ years of experience with a variety of facilities maintenance.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in HVAC, electrical work, etc. preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
  • Following standard operating procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.
  • Assists with miscellaneous facility projects including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures, and moving furniture or materials within the facility.
  • Performs routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and spaces.
  • Completes documentation for work performed in a timely manner.
  • Assists the custodial services team as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
