About The Position

Maintenance Assistant Needed! This position will assist the Lead Maintenance position in performing a variety of mechanical repair, and maintenance along with performing a variety of other functions as needed. Majority of tasks involve a utomotive maintenance and repairs as we have a fleet of pick-up trucks. Handyman skills are beneficial. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop in the skilled trades area as the Lead will assist with enhancing your skill sets over the course of time. Minnick Concrete Services is a family owned business providing services in concrete production such as retaining walls, pole base products, manhole structures along with burial products. Requirements

High School diploma or G.E.D.
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC is helpful
May learn welding of metal
Willingness to learn more in depth skill and knowledge
Organized and ability to work independently
Ability to take instruction and apply to tasks at hand
Good attendance and dependable

Responsibilities

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair and reports them to the Maintenance Manager
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs
Performs general repairs on equipment that do not require a specialized technician
Performs routine maintenance on building systems and equipment
Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities
Takes direction from the Maintenance lead
Works overtime as needed
