About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our outdoor venue on a seasonal, as-needed basis during the summer months. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson or facilities professional looking to pick up flexible, part-time work without a fixed weekly schedule. The technician will handle small to mid-scale repair and improvement projects that are currently outsourced to contractors. Work will be assigned on a project or call-in basis, depending on venue needs.

Requirements

Prior experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or skilled trades
Strong working knowledge of carpentry, basic concrete work, and general repairs
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
Comfortable working outdoors in summer conditions
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable, punctual, and responsive when called for work
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

Replace and repair deck boards and other exterior wood structures
Mend and reinforce wooden fences and gates
Repair parking lot wire barriers and related hardware
Perform small concrete repairs (patching, minor forming, surface repairs)
Mount and install hardware, signage, brackets, and fixtures
Perform general facilities repairs as needed (minor carpentry, basic metal work, light demolition)
Identify potential maintenance issues and recommend solutions
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Coordinate with venue management regarding project timelines and priorities
