About The Position

We are looking for a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician Lead who will be responsible for maintaining facilities, will act as a liaison if needed between other team members and the Maintenance Manager. They must have project management experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with the possibility of call-ins for emergency repairs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in facilities maintenance and construction.
• 2+ years of experience in leading a team.
• Experience in reading blueprints.
• Extensive knowledge of Utah A.D.A codes.
• Comfortable with hand and electrical tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, possibly a little more if needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining all facilities owned by SVHC regarding repairs and upkeep to include remodeling and construction work.
• Responsible for routinely inspecting all facilities for needed repairs and needed maintenance.
• Responsible for ensuring all remodel and construction projects are being completed to meet all A.D.A codes and standards.
• Make sure all job sites and work areas are a clean and safe working environment.
• Along with the Maintenance Manager, ensure all maintenance team members are trained in and using proper protective equipment.
• Ensure all tools and materials are cleaned up, organized, and accounted for at the end of the day.
• Must report to work by 8am to meet with the Maintenance Manager to go over the plan for the day.
• Must be reachable after hours to contact necessary staff to handle any emergency situations.
• Ensure all Maintenance team members are on task and completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Monitor and document all Maintenance team members attendance, punctuality, and job performance to convey to the Maintenance Manager for proper documentation if needed.
• Sit in on all performance reviews and disciplinary meetings with Maintenance team members.
