The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position. Schedule: 6am to 6pm

Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• 0 -2 years.
• Reading, writing and analytical skills are required.
• Must have all personal tools and have the ability to learn to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
• Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
• Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed
• Make ready all conference rooms as needed
• Oversee service that provides trash removal and cleaning
• Maintain exterior property, including snow removal
• Assist with all show installs/removals
• Oversee the execution and assist if needed to include: trash removal, restocking/cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, cleaning/disinfecting tables and counters, cleaning exterior entryway/cigarette receptacles, graffiti removal, cleaning/polishing/floor maintenance for elevators, cleaning/disinfecting community surfaces (hand rails, water fountains, vending machines, etc.)
• Performs other work related duties as assigned
