FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST Lake Havasu City, AZ #OC26-255 Closes: 02/09/2025 ROP $23.89 - $34.64/Hourly; DOQ Trainee ROP $21.50 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt- Classified Full-Time Department: PW/Facilities Maintenance TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: You must complete an online application. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing journey-level maintenance activities for any of the following areas: Facilities Maintenance, the operations of light and heavy equipment, operations of hand tools, and minor equipment repairs. Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Moderate experience in building construction, maintenance, or a related field.
Special Requirement: A Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Tanker Endorsement is strictly required at the time of hire.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using specialized hand tools and the ability to maintain accurate digital records and work orders.

Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance: Perform skilled repairs of city buildings, including plumbing, electrical wiring, drywall, and roofing.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate medium to heavy-duty machinery.
Public Safety: Execute traffic control and flagging duties; conduct daily inspections of electrical equipment to ensure operational safety.
Project Oversight: Manage materials, track project timelines, ensure equipment safety and proper tool usage.
