Facility Maintenance Service - Distribution Center Location: Olive Branch, MS, USA - 8745 Forest Hill Irene Road, Suite 105 Shift: Monday to Friday- 6am-2:30pm. Note: shift subject to change. Job Summary: McKesson’s temperature controlled Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS is currently hiring a Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on conveyance systems. This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance, taking care of repairs of internal/external areas, to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment. What You Will Need: Facility, maintenance or service technician experience Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.) Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc) Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA Work order experience Experience operating Power Equipment would be considered an asset. However, location is willing to train those that are willing to learn, but, must be able to maintain certifications Openness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor to assisting to repair DC equipment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment. Requirements

  • Facility, maintenance or service technician experience
  • Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
  • Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
