About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform general building maintenance and repairs across residential properties. This position handles work orders, preventive maintenance, and repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and appliances.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational training required
• 1–3 years of experience in building maintenance or construction
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to read work orders, instructions, and repair manuals
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and walking
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance work orders and repair requests
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems
• Repair carpentry components such as doors, cabinets, windows, and flooring
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems including sinks, toilets, and water heaters
• Perform electrical repairs including outlets, switches, and fixtures
• Install or repair appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers
• Repair roofing, masonry, drywall, and tile when needed
• Perform painting and surface repairs
• Maintain maintenance equipment and tools
• Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance
