About The Position

KOKI-KTUL has an excellent opportunity for Facilities Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure for a 133,000 square foot building. The successful candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of HVAC, boiler, refrigeration, and electrical systems. The Facilities Maintenance Director will take the lead role with daily operation and upkeep of building infrastructure, and systems within station facilities. The candidate must have a passion excellence and be comfortable with current technologies, concepts, and emerging trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Stationary Engineer
  • Possess strong engineering and troubleshooting skills.
  • Be willing to expand their knowledge with emerging industry concepts/technologies.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Be a self-starter and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as a part of a diverse team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to pivot and manage changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • A degree in a technical related field, appropriate certifications, and/or equivalent experience.
  • This position may be subject to 24 hour on-call including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Manage building environmental equipment to ensure a comfortable and healthy workplace.
  • Maintain required logs detailing system operation and maintenance.
  • Safely operate, maintain, and repair (or oversee repairs) of industrial machinery and building utility systems such as boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing.
  • Must have a current First Class Limited Stationary Engineer License and certifications for applicable systems as required by local, state, and federal laws.
  • Coordinate with local authorities to facilitate required fire inspections and fire suppression testing.
  • Work with local authorities to ensure that code compliance and regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
  • Develop and maintain an Employee Safety Program including evacuation.
  • Remain current on technologies that pertain to infrastructure and systems within the physical plant.
  • Assist the Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer with capital and operating budgets.
  • All other duties as assigned.
