Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX. What You Will Do Write and implement process work instructions and support project-oriented Facilities initiatives. Analyze data, research systems and processes, and manage clerical tasks such as data entry and spreadsheet management. Facilitate service requests and provide administrative support for meetings and leadership tasks. Support the in-house CMMS (Comprehensive Maintenance Management System) through data collection, tracking, and performance analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, production, safety, and engineering. What You Will Learn Practical experience in maintaining and managing facilities, including utility systems, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas systems, and infrastructure. Insights into planned maintenance, energy and utility management, and the operation of security systems. Hands-on experience in project management, process improvement, and data analysis. Collaboration with various cross-functional teams in a professional environment. Organizational and administrative skills necessary to support departmental operations and leadership.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field, with an expected graduation date no earlier than September 2026.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to a changing work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 3.0 GPA or above preferred
  • Demonstrated experience as a team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
  • Exposure to facilities management processes or systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a professional setting.
